Amalgamated Metal Trading Ltd (“AMT”) has previously been aware that fraudulent websites have been established which have sought to make use of the AMT name. The fraudulent sites were “amtmarkets.co.uk” and “amt-markets.co.uk”. These websites were not related to AMT, AMT Futures Ltd (“AMTF”) or any other Company in the AMC Group.
Whilst these websites have now been taken down, members of the public should exercise extreme caution if invited to participate in any investment schemes using the AMT or AMTF names on any websites which may subsequently be established.
